Camping/Zodiacs
Zodiac Camps are one night camps that take place over the course of the year. Generally one night each month at a recognised scout campsite. Associated with the camp is a challenge - details of which can be downloaded from this link.

The camp will generally take place on either the Friday or the Saturday. Whilst some spaces may  be available in the minibus, it is likely that campers will make their own way to site and be picked up from site the following day. The times are generally as follows, although may be subject to variation:

Cost includes camp fee, an activity, a supper in the evening, breakfast and lunch. All campers should come prepared to camp under canvas.

Friday Start:

18:30 At site, concluding 14:00 Saturday

Saturday Start:

17:30 at site, concluding 14:00 Sunday

Details are generally given out one or two weeks before an intended camp date.

April 10 Camp.

With the cancellation of the M74 camp, it has become necessary to find another site. Details are now outlined below, however the next scout section meeting is the 16th April, and the camp is scheduled for 17th/18th April  so there is not much time for those wishing to attend to get their PC form completed - A generic PC form can be used to indicate permission to attend.

The camp is being held at “The Craigs “ Scout Campsite, Torphican, and a letter has been posted to all scouts on  the membership database. Those scouts that secure a space on the minibus will be leaving at 4pm on Saturday and returning to the church halls at 2pm on the Sunday. The letter giving more details of cost and the PC form can be downloaded here

The letter indicates the joining instructions for those not travelling by minibus and the download page gives details to the type of kit required for a canvas camp
PL/APL Camps are often held in the month preceding Summer Camp, this year a camp is being planned for the middle of May, more details will follow shortly
