The scouting year of 2011/12 is going to be a very important year for the group. It is likely to see us move away from the church halls that have been our home since the group formed.

The group is working hard to develop our relationship with the new stakeholders associated with the merged congregations of Cambuslang Parish Church.

The group seeks to play an influential role in the life of our community and in this respect we share a common goal with our sponsoring organisation (Cambuslang Parish Church). We continue to take all the opportunities we can to make contact with the community and support others to do the same. With this in mind we are expecting to participate and support the following:

Youth Organisation Service - this service is hoped to mark the change in group name. This Service will take place on 2 October 2012, all group members are expected to attend. Families are more than welcome to attend

Christmas Fayre (2nd December)- the Church fayre is open to everyone in Cambuslang and will be another excellent opportunity to promote the group and to work with the Church to promote the range of community programmes linked to the Parish. Group members and their families are invited to visit the fayre and help the group provide a stall and promotional activities
